PS4 home screen redesign
The PS4 home screen is designed primarily for the young adult to adult gamer. However, they are often marketed as entertainment systems not just gaming. Hence, I created an alternate layout that forms an easier experience for the casual user wanting entertainment not gaming, ie the gamers partner.
Before redesigning, I recorded and recreated the existing user interface to find the flaws.
Wireframe development.
After crafting personas and user journey’s a wireframe was developed.
Using Adobe XD a new interface was created and then presented through Youtube on my TV with me syncing up with the video as if the controller really worked.
