EpiRing came to be after years of personal, ongoing frustration with existing solutions for combating anaphylaxis. Myself and others whom suffer from anaphylaxis are required to always remain within arms reach of an auto-injector device in case a life-threatening reaction occurs. Existing solutions are too childish and bulky, hence become a clear giveaway of the user's condition. Thus, many young adults who need auto-injectors are not carrying them on their person. Using the industrial design skills I have learnt, EpiRing was born - a new auto-injector designed to remove social stigma and improve practicality. With the appearance-conscious young adult demographic in mind, EpiRing is an elegant and convenient device created to be carried on the users keys.
